A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played, sponsored, volunteered, donated, or in some way contributed to the success of Kara Tagget Open 2017. We had 124 golfers and raised $22,000 for mental illness awareness and education and for suicide prevention. In 9 years of the event, we have raised about $205,000! We could not have such a successful event without all of you! We are stopping the shame, silence, and stigma of suicide! 

Many HCPSS middle and high schools celebrated Pi Day (March 14) by raising awareness for suicide and funds for Grassroots, Howard County 24-hour crisis line. Schools showed the Don't Do Nothing: Suicide Prevention Video, featuring Kara Tagget and Taylor Purdue. Check it out!
